Medaglia d'oro IWSC a La Montina

Label and medal of the same color for
Franciacorta Millesimato Brut 2011 La Montina
awarded with 95 points at the International Wine and Spirit Competition

IWSC Gold La Montina

IWSC is one of the oldest wine competitions in the world; founded in 1969, it is a competition that grows from year to year.

The panel of judges is made up of international influencers and decision makers, but above all the evaluation is based on letting the wines to be tasted by those who know the territory of  origin of the wine, in order to have the most objective results possible.

La Montina presented two Franciacorta for the competition, both awarded with medal:

La Montina Quor 2910

The new wine of La Montina selection, Franciacorta Quor2910, has been introduced to the market since December 2018. It is a wine that has spent 2910 days on yeasts, but that surprises for the freshness of drink preserved. Quor, born from a spelling mistake of grandfather Fiore (here the complete story), is a wine produced in limited edition, which promises to give other satisfactions with a rest in the bottle of some other month.

Franciacorta Millesimato Brut 2011, awarded with 95 points, is the wine that most convinced the judges of  IWSC.
It is an enveloping wine, which gives the nose and the palate intense aromas of yellow pulp fruit, but also light toasting. The color is golden, the  perlage fine and persistent. It is a Franciacorta ready to be tasted and appreciated also in combination with elaborate and succulent dishes.
