Franciacorta “Selezione Montecolo” is the celebration of 30 years of La Montina.
Wisely cared for over 5 years, Montecolo is a blend of the best grapes of two different
vintages: 2009 and 2010. An excellent year for all Franciacorta region the first;
less the second, which gave its best on thin soils and on mountains, exactly where
our vineyards Montecolo are located (facing Lake Iseo in Franciacorta’s boundaries).
The Franciacorta who was born is a product of excellence, with good structure, guarded
in 520 Magnum bottles inside which the wine has the opportunity to best express
its organoleptic qualities. The perlage is intense and persistent, thin and the color
is yellow with copper hues. The scents are strongly influenced by the barrique passage,
they are enchanting and elegant and remind of honey, acacia and artemisia.
“Selezione Montecolo” celebrates 30 years of La Montina bringing in the glass Franciacorta
in its purity. A taste without compromise, round and full with good minerality.
